Who we are

INTRODUCTION

Jyoti Samajik Sewa Sanstha (JSSS) is a national level voluntary Organization in the area of health, education, socio-economic development and protection of socially disadvantaged populations. It was initiated by a group of dedicated social workers and professionals in Delhi.
The organization was formally registered in 2002, Registration No. 41711/2002 under the Societies Registration Act 1860 as a national level voluntary organization. During the financial year 2017-2018, Jyoti Samajik Sewa Sanstha (JSSS) has significantly reorganized and expanded its portfolio of programmes and activities. During this period the organization initiated and successfully implemented various programmes and interventions aimed at overall development of socially disadvantaged population as well as improving the status of their health and hygiene.

Tech India Program

The Society had started Free English-Speaking Class known as Teach India Program with the help of Times of India (The Times Group of which Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd is a flag ship company). One centre had been opened in Kapashera for conducting English Speaking Class. Free English-Speaking Class will be conducted with the purpose of Employability. Job Fair will be conducted by time to time after completion of the course. Many companies will come in Job Fair to select the learners for job in Delhi/NCR. Course duration will be of 100 Days. Books will be given free of cost.

Vocational Skills Training

The society has always kept in mind that the vocational training is the need of the hour to reduce the effects of the unemployment. To achieve this goal the society has started a vocational training center at its registered office at Mahipalpur. During the financial year under review 105 participants were imparted training. Many of these participants are now self-employed.
